Policies
Costumes
- Costume prices average $50 - $70 per costume.
- Costumes deposits of $40 per costume are
due by December 1, 2012.
- The remaining balance is due
by March 31, 2013.
- Costume deposits are refundable, less a $10.00
charge per costume, if cancelled before Friday, December 21, 2012.
- Beyond December 21, 2012 deposits will not be
refunded and the costumes must be paid in full.
You have
two options for how you would like to pay your costume deposit.
Option
# 1: You may add additional money to your monthly payment
until you have fulfilled your costume deposit requirement. (This only applies up
to December 1, 2012).
Option
# 2: You may pay your total deposits due in one
payment anytime from September until December 1, 2012.
Dress Code
Students must have the proper shoes and dress for each form of dance.
Hair must be worn off the face for all classes.
Ballet/Pointe: leotard, tights (ballet skirt, sweater, legwarmers optional). Shoes: pink ballet/pointe shoes
Jazz: leotard, jazz shorts/capris/pants Shoes: black jazz shoes or barefoot
Tap: leotard, jazz shorts/capris Shoes: black tap shoes
Hip
Hop: any type of baggy clothing is acceptable. No belly exposure Shoes: jazz sneakers
Contemporary: leotard, jazz shorts/capris/pants Shoes: barefoot or foot undies
***We end our season in June with a dance production held at Mt Alvernia. ***

Ideal Dance is “green.” We will be sending information home via email. Please get into the habit of checking
your inboxes once a week. On top
of the environmental benefits of “greener” information distribution, this will
allow me to send more information to you at an increased speed--including but not limited to
reminders, weather cancellations, performance updates, costume descriptions,
holiday schedules and more.
